To enhance the lives of peo­ple over sixty-​​two so that they may con­tinue to live in their own homes, remain­ing inde­pen­dent, con­fi­dent, and engaged.

Our vision:

We see South­ern Rhode Island at Home as an asso­ci­a­tion of peo­ple over sixty-​​two who wish to remain in their com­mu­ni­ties and in their own homes as they age. Through a net­work of help­ful ser­vices, social con­nec­tions, mean­ing­ful events, and shared infor­ma­tion, they can acquire the knowl­edge to make appro­pri­ate choices for their indi­vid­ual sit­u­a­tions, the sup­port needed to make these choices, and the oppor­tu­nity for all their mem­bers to enjoy a com­fort­able, secure home environment.
